Minimum Wage for Ohioans set to Increase Jan. 1, 2023

On September 30, 2022, the Ohio Department of Commerce announced that the minimum wage will increase as of January 1, 2023, to $10.10 per hour for non-tipped employees and $5.05 per hour for tipped employees. Pursuant to Article II, Section 34a of the Ohio Constitution, Ohio’s minimum wage shall increase on Jan. 1 by the rate of inflation.
