Attorney General Opinion Requested on Whether Local School District Board Member and Township Fiscal Officer Positions Are Compatible

On March 15, 2022, the Trumbull County Prosecuting Attorney submitted a request for a formal Ohio Attorney General opinion as to whether a township’s fiscal officer may be appointed to fill a vacant public school board position in the same township.
