As an avid motorcyclist, one of the many ways Matt Markling honors our veterans throughout the year is by raising money for veterans on several charity rides.
Matt has been privileged to ride with the flags of both his childhood friend and father-in-law – both of whom served in the United States Air Force during wartime – on multiple OVMP 3095 + Freedom Rides, which raises money for the Ohio Veterans’ Memorial Park.
The Ohio Veterans’ Memorial Park is located in Clinton, Ohio and began in May of 2009 by honoring the 3,095 Ohioans lost during the Vietnam War. Since then, the Ohio Veterans’ Memorial Park has been dedicated to honoring all Ohio veterans from all wars and in peace, remembering their sacrifices for our freedom and safety, and celebrating their lives.
