Dodrill v. Barberton City Schools

In the OCRC charge of Dodrill v. Barberton City Schools, OCRC AKR B3 (34323) 0508209, a school employee alleged that the school board discriminated and retaliated against the school employee based on the school employee’s disability when the school board allegedly required the school employee to clean an infected room, allegedly placed the school employee at a greater risk of injury due to the school employee’s disability, and then allegedly reduced the school employees hours when the school employee complained. McGown & Markling represented the school board in this case, and successfully obtained a no probable cause finding from the Ohio Civil Rights Commission on behalf of the school board.
