The State of Ohio will now allow adult citizens to carry a firearm without a permit. In order to lawfully carry a concealed firearm, a person must either have a valid Ohio concealed carry license or be an Ohioan over the age of 21 to carry without a permit. Those who carry either under this statute or with a concealed carry license are required to notify a law enforcement officer who has performed a stop pursuant to their law enforcement duties that they are carrying a concealed firearm.
