Meet Kasandra “Kas” Boyd, a law clerk at McGown & Markling.
Kas is a graduate of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently attends the University of Akron School of Law,
where she works with Akron Law’s Clemency Project to help eligible Ohioans secure pardons from the Ohio Governor’s Office. Kas is also a member of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and recently volunteered at “One of a Kind” Pet Rescue in Akron.
Kas was born in raised in Pennsylvania but now lives in Kent, Ohio with her older sister and their five pets. One of Kas’ favorite activities is exploring Ohio’s many state trails and parks with her dog, Lando — who is among her biggest law school supporters! Kas also loves spending time with her family and friends, shopping, trying new restaurants, and going to see movies.
