On September 17, 2019, our Nation will once again celebrate Constitution Day, which commemorates the day 39 delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787.
To help celebrate this historic occasion, Dr. Andrew Povtak will be providing a presentation at the Kent State University-Stark Campus entitled, “A Tale of Two Governments: Partisan Gerrymandering and Issues of Federalism.” Dr. Povtak’s presentation will explore how the principles of federalism and state power impact recent efforts to control the ability of states to establish congressional districts.
Dr. Povtak’s presentation is free and open to the public so please join him on September 17, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at the Kent State University-Stark Campus Main Hall Auditorium, which is located at 6000 Frank Ave. N.W., North Canton, Ohio 44720. For more information about the event, click here.
